Valentine Leone was born in Italy and raised in Toronto, Canada. She began singing at the age of 7, studied at the Royal Conservatory of Milan and recorded with several record labels, including Sony, Polygram, Arista, and Atlantic credited as, "Cindy Valentine".
Valentine has gone on to write for film and television and produce as well as perform. Some of her achievements include films such as Dennis Hopper's Sunset Heat and Mannequin Part 2. You can find her on the soundtrack to Mickey Rourke's, Another 9-1/2 Weeks Part II (Sony Records) and as the composer and performer for the title track on the feature film comedy, Repossessed, starring Linda Blair and Leslie Nielsen.
Valentine produced and scored a short film, Ruth, which was accepted into the 5th Annual Los Angeles Film Festival and is distributed by Universal Pictures. Look for her scoring efforts on the Miramax DVD, Backflash, starring Robert Patrick and Melissa Joan Hart, and Souvenir Views, a Tribeca Short Film feature. Valentine wrote and performed, "No Justice, No Piece", for the film, 4Chosen: The Documentary, which won the Garden State Film Festival Best Documentary Short award.
